1. We are an intermediary, not a transport operator
Purvanchal Sathi is a technology platform. We do not own or operate vehicles, employ drivers, provide transport services, or hold any permit as a taxi, cab aggregator or contract-carriage operator.
A journey booked through the platform is an arrangement between a driver and a passenger, both of whom are independent of the Company. We provide the software on which they find each other, agree a cost share and pay.
2. Information on the platform
Routes, durations, distances, fares, availability and estimated arrival times are indicative. They are calculated from the information drivers provide and from map and traffic data, and real journeys vary.
We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is complete, accurate or error-free, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or fault-free operation of the platform.
3. Conduct of users
Drivers and passengers are independent users. We verify documents and enforce our policies, but we do not control what any user does, and we give no warranty about the character, conduct, skill or suitability of any user, or about the roadworthiness of any vehicle.
Verification on our platform means documents were submitted and reviewed. It is not an endorsement or a guarantee.
4. Third-party services
Payments, messaging, mapping and identity services are provided by third parties. Their failure, downtime, error or change is outside our control, and we are not responsible for loss arising from it, other than to pass on the outcome correctly once we know it.
Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We do not endorse them and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business, goodwill, data or opportunity, however caused.
Where the Company is found liable notwithstanding the above, its total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with a booking is limited to the platform service fee actually received by the Company for that booking.
Nothing in this disclaimer limits liability for fraud, for wilful misconduct, or for anything that cannot be limited under applicable law. In particular, nothing here affects rights you have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
6. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify the Company against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of our terms, your violation of any law, or your infringement of the rights of another person — including anything you do or fail to do during a journey.
